Christmas in Denver, Colorado with my mom was the highlight of my Christmas holiday! Texas A&M University gives their employees from December 23 (noon) until January 5 and what a gift for me. I flew to Denver on Christmas morning where my sister, Diane Maurer, picked me up at the airport and stayed until December 31.
Mom and I had a wonderful time together!
Seeing downtown Denver from her apartment window early in the morning was glorious. A few photos had to be taken so I could remember the beauty God provides for us each morning!
Mom has made such beautiful friends in her complex. They adore her (who wouldn't?)!
I even got a touch of a flu bug while I was there and just like mom, she nursed me back to health!
This Christmas was so very special for me and I am most thankful to my Father, God, for blessing me!
What is in store for next year?
I can hardly wait to see!
